Nomination of Non-Official Members to the State/District Level DISHA Committees

The DISHA Committees constituted by the Ministry of Rural Development at State and District levels are expected to function as an important instrument for effective monitoring of implementation of Central Government Programmes. DISHA Guidelines provided for nomination of 4 (Four ) non- official members by the Ministry of Rural Development in both the State and District Level DISHA committees. The Guidelines of DISHA committees containing Terms of Reference,Composition, eligibility for non–official members, etc., are available on the website of the Ministry.

Expression of Interest are invited from eminent person of the State/District from social academic or public fields having special knowledge or experience of social economic development in the
State/district/region for nomination as non-official members. The membership of these committee are voluntary in nature and nominated members are paid TA/DA and daily allowance as mentioned in Guidelines for attending the meeting. Interested person may indicate his/her availability in the prescribed format (For nomination in State Level Committee may apply in FORMAT A and for nomination in District Level Committee may apply in FORMAT B by email or by post so as to reach this Ministry, at the following address:
